CONSIDERING ME FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY?
Here is how I roll.
YOUR FIRST STEP
Choose a job that you love and you will never have to work a
day – Confucius
This is my job, this is my LOVE and it never tires me. I am a story teller and no other genre of photography is better suited for story telling than what I can do with you folks. I am not here to click pictures but to create memories that you will cherish and hold on to for the rest of your lives. Your wedding will be like a joy ride in your favorite park and my job would be to put that on reel so you can live it over and over again.
If you decide to hire me, meeting you will be just as important as anything else. Getting to know you will give me a peek on what you are expecting and this put along with my experience will craft images that will be with you forever. If we are in the same town, we can meet up for a coffee. Tell me your story, what you like, favorite movies, how you guys met. If we are in different towns; lets skype. A little assurance knowing the guy who is shooting your special day can go a long way.
MAKE A STATEMENT; SHOW YOUR LOVE
A pre wedding couple shoot is something that I strongly
advice to clients. This is where we blend together. You will get a chance to see
how I work and also be part of some crazy ideas. Not only will this help you
with your invite photos (save the date), if you are the kind that is camera
shy; this will help you a lot to get out of that phase and be prepared for me
during the wedding. The shoot can last to about a couple of hours. Get about
2-3 changes, we shall roam on the streets, the parks and just about any place
where I can think of at that moment and by the end of the day we have pictures
that are totally AWESOME
PRE WEDDING PREPS
Ever walked into a movie where you have missed out the first
10 minutes? Imagine how frustrating that can be. That is exactly how you feel
when you look back at your pictures and you have missed out those little
functions that you had before the wedding. They may only take a couple of hours
but they have to be captured to complete the story. If it’s a haldi, mehendi,
nalungu or something entirely different that I have not come across; ensure
that they are included in your wedding package.
DINCHAK DINCHAK
Every wedding needs this because this is the only time when
you will let your guard down and boogie. I cannot give you steps on how I plan
to cover the dancing because I don’t have a plan. That should explain why this
is the favourite part of the shoot. The crazier the better. Please refrain from
being camera shy and enjoy yourselves and that takes care of my job too.
THE D DAY
By now, I should know as to where and when you guys will be
doing what. I shall meet you before you get ready and the documentation
commences. This is where I will be shooting you whilst you get ready. I shall
cover the transformation, friends awwee-ing at you, the shoes, the ring, the makeup,
the hair, the dress and so on; you get the idea.
After this I move on to portraits of both groom and bride. Some of them posed and some candid. Some group shots with friends and I shall let the creativity juices flow. Once we are done, I will take just the two of away for some silent and intimate photo session. This happens once in life; trust me when I say, YOU WANT THIS PHOTO SESSION.

CEREMONY TIME!!
You will see me run around like a wild woman; rest assured this
is for your good. I will try and be everywhere and shoot everything. Know that
I shall not rest until I know I have every frame that made up for your special
day, every ritual, every smile, every tear drop, every emotion.
I will also take some of those conventional group pictures
for your family, grandparents, friends and even those uncles and aunties who
you shall point out in the photo book and ask who they were.
RECEPTION
It’s all about the effort put in to look pretty. Make that
grand entrance and cut that big cake. Indian receptions can go for ever, ensure
that you have put some time in the gym and also some facial exercises. You will
be asked to smile for the group photos (a lot actually). I may not be shooting
the conventional photos but if you need that covered; you will have to let me
know beforehand. We will wrap up after the yummy food and say our goodbyes only
to meet to exchange photos.
AFTERMATH
“Patience is a virtue” It is very cheesy but makes a lot of
sense. I personally edit the photos that I click; this is my forte and I dig my
teeth in it. The wedding coverage is only a part of the job, the real work gets
done when I get back and sit in front of my computer. I don’t edit pictures to
make them beautiful, I edit them to make a statement and this takes time. What
you see will justify the wait.
I understand the eagerness, but I am just as eager to put
them up. Within the first 2 weeks you will see the album show up on my page and
on the blog. You can use this to share them with friends and folks who missed
your wedding.
If you have ordered an album, the designing will start off
whilst the photos are edited. Please trust my judgement and I know how to make
the photo book intriguing. After you see the draft you can swap photos or add
the ones that I might have missed out.
Lastly, I will send out a survey asking you about your experience
and how I fared. You can send in your reviews and hopefully remain friends.
